Charlie Sloth took to his official Youtube channel to release the cinematically epic visuals for the 3rd single off the 44 track Hood Heat Vol.1 compilation album entitled “Keep On”. The song features the lyrical stylings of Mobo award winning Grime MC Stormzy and street sensation Potter Payper as well as soulful singer Tone. The song serves a tale of triumph over adversity, rising to greatness from tough origins and a defiant middle finger up to the haters. Stormzy goes in with the smooth yet gritty delivery, rapping about how far he has come and keeping on the grind until it pays off even further. Potter Payper kills it with his trademark, laid back punchy flows and bleak tales of getting his hustle on using his unique and creative style of metaphorical writing. The beat is a horn led, pounding trap style instrumental, with intricate electronic synths and sfx which lays the foundation for Tone to elevate the emotive feeling with his vocals rounding off an epic sounding mix that matches the slick visuals nicely.
