COOPS #AAAKA – GET TO KNOW | KOMPETITION FINALIST
UK rapper Coops has his official KA Drinks #AAAKA – Get To Know kompetion finalist video released by GRM Daily. The young artist teamed up with singer songwriter Sophie Faith to perform a laidback lyrically potent and melodically deep live rendition of the collaborative track “Make Things Right”. Coops flows smoothly over the old skool boom bap style beats, spitting about his come up and using his smarts to go far in the music game, as well as realizing his true potential and knowing he can fulfill it. Sophie Faith adds the bitter sweet soul to the song, icing the musical cake with her luscious sultry tones. Great track. That real inspirational rap music. Coops’ Mini Bio:
After winning the Choice FM Breakthrough Competition in 2013, North London rapper Coops was given the opportunity to perform at the London o2 with none other than Hip-Hop royalty, Nas. The series of events instilled a new self-belief within the rapper and having previously used music as a pastime, the 23-year-old Londoner’s passion for the craft was ignited. After completing a degree in performing arts at Southampton University, Coops set to work on his mixtape ‘Lost Soul’ which he dropped in June this year. The mellow vibes and boom bap inspiration provide something very refreshing from a London rapper; it’s no surprise that he is being supported across all of the major radio stations including BBC Radio 1.
