HYPES VS BRU-C | Don’t Flop Grime Clash
Highrise Entertainment MC Manchester Hypes battled Nottingham vocalist Bru-C at Don’t Flops recent Grime Clashes event. Both MCs brought their A games, flowing skippily over a selection of classic and new Grime bangers with Bru-C comically mocking Hypes’ appearance and lamenting his record label and Hypes delivering strong bars, especially in round two where he took at least three attempts to get through his verse due to the wheelups! Great clash, Hypes took it just, but only because of the bully boy tactics in the last round, Hypes was literally hyped out of control. If Bru-C comes with some more angles, deeper disses and goes a bit harder at his opponents he could really shake up the scene. A bit of aggression to go with his clever writing.
