US rapper and globally renowned pisstaker Uno Lavoz flew over to take on London’s very own Big J at Don’t Flops recent #6BW (Sixth Birthday Weekend) event in Leeds. In a battle of the funny men, outlandish jokes, iffy jokes, “bad bars” and borderline offensive, yet hilariously nasty punchlines the two jokers met in what turned out to be a very entertaining clash. Uno always brings the rawkus and did not disappoint, with a strong opening round, predictably going for a lot of fat jokes, delivered in his colorfully exuberant style, getting the crowd hyped from the get go. Big J came back hard with his reply, using some of Uno’s traits, dissing Lavoz’s family, calling Uno out on his use of the N Word as well as clapping a rhyme/chant for the audience to join in. Big Ja took the 1^st round. Lavoz came back with a quick witted rebuttal, flipping Big J’s “clapping rhyme”. After that Uno dedicated round two to a “Bad Bars” scheme, subsequently the tongue in cheek punchlines didn’t hit as hard as his first round. J stepped it up in the second round, making the battle more personal, also slating mosh team with a humorous take on the crews recruitment policy. Big J again took the second round. The third round for both tailed off a bit. Uno’s last round was controversial as hell. Lavoz took the piss out of J’s daughter, maybe crossing the line with some of the rhymes… Funny in parts but cringe-worthy in others. Uno seemed to get too caught up in crowd participation and playing around. Should have been more about the bars, hence the reason J probably took the 3^rd round too. One of the most entertaining DF battles no doubt but not overly lyrical. Good match up. But Uno could take it a little more seriously. Big J has improved ALOT. Big respect to both for having some gleefully brutal banter. Big J 3 zip. What do you guys think? Check out the video and leave us your opinions below…
