Samantha Durnan x Paigey Cakey “Changes” [GRM Daily]

Singer-songwriter Samantha Durnan teamed up with urban artist Paigey Cakey in the studio to drop an alternative, yet splendid rendition of 2 Pac’s “Changes” (sampled from Bruce Hornsby & The Range’s 1986 hit “The Way It Is”). Samantha unleashes her sweet, strong powerful vocals, playing her folk style guitar effortlessly, putting a more laid back feel on the more familiar RnB version. Paigey Cakey’s goes in with heartfelt lyricism, getting poetically deep with the bars, showing her versatility and rhythmic talent spitting over the acoustic backdrop with ease. Nice collab.
