JDZmedia – U.G – Golliwog

UK artist U.G releases the official music video for his latest track entitled “Golliwog” via JDZMedia. In a similar vein to Swiss’ socially, culturally and politically challenging track “Nigger”, U.G uses a slightly less brutally honest message deliverance, but equally effective ironically infused approach. Using “punchlines” to highlight injustices and astonishing yet amusingly truthful anecdotes to bring home the facts U.G laces the beat with an effervescent character and smooth flow over dark, synth, bass heavy hip hop instrumentation. The imagery depicted by U.G’s “Golliwog” character fuels the sense of irony throughout the song and serves as an ingenius method of enhancement to educate through entertainment.
