“Beginning his story in Derby, Eyez made it his mission to create a musical presence across the UK. Moving quickly up the ladder in his home city through a series of infamous rap battles, Elijah Eyez managed to catch the eye of many of his industry peers further south in London – including grime legend Ghetts (who he later collaborated with) and pioneer DJ Cameo (BBC 1Xtra). In 2014 Eyez is on a musical journey of discovery, he is putting the rap battles he became so well known for to the side and convinces us he is nothing short of a one trick pony.”
